About This Spot
Stepping into Thai Cookery Street Food NY feels like discovering a vibrant corner of Thailand tucked quietly away in Larchmont. The moment you arrive, the buzz of a casual local eatery softly hums around you—an inviting mix of familiar warmth and subtle intrigue. There’s a relaxed rhythm here, where the pace gently balances the comfort of a neighborhood spot with the spirited whispers of a lively bar. It’s the kind of place where the aromas of fresh herbs and spices mingle with the welcoming chatter of patrons unwinding after their day.
This isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a space that encourages lingering, where the clinking of glasses and shared plates fosters an easy camaraderie. Whether you’re settling in for a lunch break or unwinding with friends as the evening turns mellow, the atmosphere offers a grounded sense of joy. The menu feels like a passage to authentic moments, where each bite conjures the careful harmony of robust Thai flavors—bright, bold, and thoughtfully prepared.
Here, dishes arrive with a sense of purpose that reflects their roots. The comforting richness of a Panang curry or the playful heat of drunken noodles feels deeply satisfying, while delicate things like crispy chicken wings or fresh papaya salad offer refreshing lighter notes. The attention to detail—like perfectly cooked sticky rice or a subtly sweet black rice pudding—makes each meal a little celebration of everyday delight.
Amidst this, the service carries an ease that complements the warmth of the space. It’s easy to feel at home with the attentive care that lets you fully enjoy the experience without fuss. The place calls to those who appreciate genuine flavors and a welcoming ambiance, drawing in repeat visits not just for the food but for the feeling of connection it quietly nurtures.

After a long day at the office, finding this new Larchmont Gem with an empty stomach Left me happily full at Thai Cookery I haven’t been to Thailand in years but have grown fond of the natural ingredients in their cuisine and I have not found a Thai sport that left me so satisfied until now I ordered the Green Curry with Chicken but I made a beautiful mistake that has changed the way that I will order in the future Instead of Rice, I suggest getting the noodles as a substitution- but that’s just me. :-). When it came out - when it was set on the table when the aroma grappled my heart and my senses - the smell the look the taste. It was if it took me back to Thailand What a gem of an establishment. If you love to tantalize your taste buds and your tummy - Try it. I’m going back for more! Soon!

The food and the service at this restaurant was wonderful. We ordered the Crispy Pork Belly with Basil and the Beef Green Curry, both dishes were full of flavor and did not disappoint. We also recommend the Golden Triangle appetizer, that dish is very unique and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely come back for more delicious and authentic Thai food.

The Pad Thai here is truly excellent—it's the best I've had from any restaurant. The Pad Kee Mao was also tasty, but I'd suggest they add more basil and sauce. The spice level, however, was perfect.

This place is exceptionally good. The wings are crispy and full of flavor. The pad se ew moo had great taste and the broad noodles were huge. Honestly cant wait to go back and try more.

What a delicious experience! The food at this place was absolutely fantastic. Everything we tried was amazing. Our favorites were Bangkok Wings and the Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce.
